Our mission is to publish journalism directly sustained by interested readers, rather than to pursue revenue through advertising or data mining.
We also publish a weekly email newsletter, Hmm Weekly, providing our supporters and members with additional reading material, including recipes, epistolary mini-essays, and “Nineteen Folktales,” an illustrated limited-run series.
